This was the kid who killed himself, and the mum wouldn't allow his life support to be turned off despite the poor kid's brain rotting.
Nurses were intimidated and heavy fundamentalist Christian input and funding.
Anyway, I was browsing a Reddit thread about Ben Needham, and came across the story of Archie's mum - just been found guilty of gbh with intent.
And it's one of those news stories that gets worse the more you read...

Not that it's a great look, but reading that and a couple of the linked articles it'd seem that some of the more contentious options on our original thread have been somewhat vindicated.
