Is there actually one that does the job well?
I've tried about every sensor on the market and the best I have found is a Prosensor 710 from Franklin Industries. I don't know if is readily available in the UK (I'm in the US), but sure you can get it online (that's how I got mine as the hardware stores and big-box home improvement stores didn't have it). Not cheap, but excellent results.
Electric drill with a masonary bit !!
Non pick up plastic water pipes.
Oh and if the customer tells you there definately isnt a pipe buried in the wall and its ok to drill, DONT.
Alos beaware of pipes, cables behinf arcitraves and skirting.
An apprentice.
My jab saw picks up anything except plain plasterboard...... Want to borrow ?
Got a Bosch one. Wasn't cheap but seems work well. Only thing it is poor at it picking up joists through lathe and plaster
Yep I seem to find the little buggers with my drill as well!
I will have a look at the Prosensor and Bosch ones, cheers fellas!
