I'm about to have a stroll down to the rather nice bakery down the road. I'm thinking a large meat pie with a sausage roll chaser.

What are we having then, you lot?

Slow down, I haven't finished my bloody mary yet!

Pork belly has just gone on the specials board so it would be folly to eat anything else mind.

Salad for lunch.

I'm going out with the Missus later for our anniversary - for a curry. I don't want anything to spoil my preparations for a curry.....

Was going to be a steak and cheese roll, a pie and maybe an egg custard from Greggs. But the Mrs made me lunch today, so I've had cheese and salad cream baps with some rather boring plain crisps, which isn't exactly full fat!!. Roll on tonight.... homemade Chicken curry, steamed rice, Peshwari naan and lashings of spicy mango chutney

If I'm passing through Skipton, I'll nip into The Craven Bakery for a Rapscallion (big scone type thing like the Fat Rascal from Bettys).  Delicious.

A New Yorker from Katsouris on Deansgate. This gem of a sandwich has meat, cheese and veg content, so ticks all the boxes.

I was going to have a pasty from the bakers, but it turns out the market is on today, and there's a stand selling fresh lamb koftas in warm tandoori naans. It we right tasty.

A New Yorker from Katsouris on Deansgate. This gem of a sandwich has meat, cheese and veg content, so ticks all the boxes.

This please me both because it sounds lovely, and that Katsouris is still going.

I've been hovering and havering over a public tender submission with a 3pm deadline today trying to think of anything I've overlooked or undersold. Check again, check again.

Then I read this thread, felt my belly rumble, thought '**** it and and press send' and I'm off down the cafe. I think they've got Chicken Stovies on the specials board today. Sounds novel
