I understand they include some special ingredients to enhance the creaminess of the ones they export to Lancashire. 😀

Have you been to the farm shop in Holmfirth?

The most awesome selection of LF ice cream and yoghurts, including gooseberry.

Blueberry's always my favourite.

I do like going to the ice cream shop at home.

Anyone know what's happened to their windmill though?

The wind turbine? Don't know, but seems a shame after they illuminated it. Think I might have heard that they'd had planning turned down to replace it (though I might be making that up)!

It's on the Woodhead Road, opposite Holmfirth Mills.

They have a cafe, ice cream shop and a wall of fridges for yoghurts.

Went there for ice cream while the Mrs was in labour - she insisted. Do recommendations come any higher?!

They are common in Cumbria so in my world I assumed you could buy them anywhere. They are the best Raspberry especially. Might need a trip to Morrison's for lunch today.

have you seen that "Perle de Lait" ad? The one where she screws here face up with the sourness of it all?

That's what LF yoghurts are like for me. Sorry

Hora- there's nowt like doing a ride and finishing it at the Longley shop in the height of summer.

And Longley ice cream is the business.

Dixons are "milk ices" and I think they make the raspberry sauce out of liquid angel blood. Om nom nom.
