Filling out a form that asks for my Registration district. Wikipedia suggests this is a jumped up term for my local council- just thought I'd double check with the might of STW that this is the case.
So, if I was born in a metropolitan council, that's my RD, correct?

It used to be pretty much the County
IIRC it was all abolished 1975 ish
