We have an oak nest of tables, that despite fairly concerted coaster use have somehow picked up some faint rings. I'm looking to strip back a little bit and then re-oil the wood.
Some of the wood is a little rough, so I'd like to take care if that first, but the problem is the sections which make up the top have grain running perpendicular to one another, so sanding will be a bit awkward. Is it just a case of taking my time and doing it methodically?
