I saw the footage and couldn't help thinking it made the Olympic divers I'd just been watching look lame. These folk are nuts - I had no idea they did all the same kind of moves as the indoor lot, just from way, way higher.
Love watching that, as do the kids - and we Brits seem to do quite well at it, weirdly. The recent Azores round looked completely mental, diving into a 2m swell so you can completely fluff your entry if the wave moves....
Saw some pics of this recently an even just the ladders they used to climb up to the platform looked terrifying.
I saw them rigging this in Pembrokeshire last year. We weren't around for the contest though. Mental
