We were at a kids 5th birthday about 5pm when they came over, fantastic sight , right over the top of us.
I think heading home from Yeovilton display today. We live about 10 miles south of Brum.
Funnily my day job is building ECS units for those aircraft.

Yep, saw them from Coughton heading home this afternoon. Always an impressive sight.

They're based just outside Lincoln - RAF Scampton - so not entirely surprising 😉
you say that but when I was on a placement in Lincoln for 2-3 months I never saw them! was so surprised as how close together they were for general flying....
The Lancaster flew over Cannock Chase earlier... 🙂
They spend a few months pre-season at Akrotiri in Cyprus so that may coincide with the time you were in Lincoln
