Chaps,

Being a bit of hippy bloke I am loathed to stick too many things in a landfill tip. I wear things to distruction and I have a number of shoes with holes in the and are not suitable for re-sale in a charity shop....does anyone know of anywhere I can send them which would recycle them into something else as I hear of them becoming flooring and stuff but cannot get google to work!!!

Cheers

Barney:)

The area around childrens play areas are sometimes rubber matts or chopped up tyres; maybe old shoes are OK for this.

For people that waste shoes look here.

can they not be resoled? I've a pair of Paul Smiths that are on their third soles and some all saints boots on their second, they feel better now than when they were new!

a few running shops do collections. Have you checked your local council for recycling? Mine do shoes, clothes etc.
