Can anyone recommend a good set of headphones/mic for skype, web conferences and other stuff like this?
Extra points for not making me look even more like a twunt 🙂
Depends on the equipment you are pugging into to make the call but I find my normal iPhone headphones (the new type) really good for this. Unobtrusive and good mic.
Edit - would require a laptop or whatever that has the combined headphone/microphone socket, of course.

Plantronics usb one for me - lasted longer than anything else being stuffed inside laptop bag day on day and I'm told sound quality is good by the others on meetings.
I use a logitech one and it's been faultless. I spend several hours a day on the phone with it and it's never failed me.
