Looking for a good resort over new suitable for a group of families with young kids. Needs to be pretty snowsure, have a good mix of terrain and good instructors for the kids.
Any experiences and recommendations?
Well, there really is no such thing as snowsure, the nearest you will get is Kaprun (Kitzsteinhorn is the ski area) as its glacier, probably others too but Kitzsteinhorn is fairly high
I was there the week of 5th December last year, when we arrived there was no snow in any other resort to speak of, skiing was good in Kitzsteinhorn, looking across to Zell Am See it was all brown fields, having said that it did snow pretty heavily a week later and didnt stop for 2 weeks !
