My mate is off work at the moment and he was up for going somewhere for a few days to get out of the country. I guess you could call it a 'weekend break' or 'city break' but this sounds a bit too middle aged so i was thinking a 'lads on tour'

Anyway, I said I was up for going for about 3 or 4 days, we will probably be going either this weekend or next weekend.

Recommend me somewhere:
cheap,
interesting and
warm (doesnt have to be, the other two are probably more important)

Where do you recommend?

Not Paris or Venice, hugely overrated places IMO.

Florence is very nice, some beautiful things to see.

Ljubljana in Slovenia, pretty much the nicest and coolest city I've been to, and I've been to a lot. Eastjet from Stanstead.

I think putting 'city break' in the original post was a bad idea.

Preferably somewhere that isnt a city, maybe somewhere with some good outdoorsy sort of stuff to do. Infact, **** knows, just keep the suggestions coming, ive had a mind blank.

You didn´t say if you wanted a biking weekend. If you do we are based on the beach, just 20 mins from Malaga airport. We´ll have you riding 1 hour after landing if you catch an early flight, perfect for a long weekend.
Plenty of good nightlife for "lads on tour" Check us out on http://www.sierracycling.com .
Currently weather warm & sunny.

Estonia, Tallinn. You might want to take a coast if you want warm though.
