My current Thinsulate baffie boots are on their last legs, and looking for something cosy to were around the house. Would prefer something with a bit of a durable sole as I am in and out of the garage for wood and kindling all the time.

Was thinking of the North face tent Mules or any other recommendations?

Cheers

I just got myself a pair of proper sheepskin moccasins...

Sorry to say, but given the fact our house is freezing, and I've tried various tent mules etc over the years - they really do seem to knock everything else into a cocked hat, wonderful.

Now, where's my pipe?

I've got a pair of Wassbring sheepskin slippers which are great. Had them about 3 years now and they still look great and are still nice and warm without being too warm. They also never get smelly. The sole is good and is fine for walking about outside in the yard.

Pair of these:

Mules have fabric for a sole, doubt they are up to it.

My wife has a pair of the Wassbring mentioned above, we live in a cold house with cold floors - Had them 3 years plus in and around the house. She loves them and I am jealous but never seem to get them for Xmas.

Got a pair of these last week and if they keep feet warm in my house they must be good. Suitable outersole could be made from material available at a podiatry suppliers. Not bad at a tenner.

What about some clogs?

I had some years ago and the wooden soles were very warm and you'll have no problems going to the garage. And they're very comfortable.

Think of the abuse I would have received if I had asked 'what cocoa for night-time drinking'.

Seems to me that you guys get away with anything and us poor girlies have to wear chainmail when on here. 🙄

Another one for you ...

What dressing-gown for watching telly in?

Anyone with an ounce of self respect would saw their own feet off rather than wear those monstrosities.

Oh yes Zulu. 😀 Green is so my colour too.

Bit more practical than those adult baby-grows that got posted up. 😉
