I've currently got a pair of mid-range Shure noise isolation, in ear headphones (the type with the squishy ear insert). But I seem to have the world's smallest ear canals and find fitting them a faff. They are also prone to coming loose.
I'm thinking of getting some larger, over ear headphones instead. Possibly some noise cancelling ones.
The main requirements are the ability to block out train/tube noise without having to resort to high volumes levels and decent sound quality, obviously. Oh and not leak noise as I dont want to annoy fellow commuters.
Any suggestions appreciated.
Don't get new phones, get some custom ear pieces from ACS - AMAZING! I have a set with my etymotics and they are truly perfect.
The noise cancelling surpasses active designs.
