[Closed] Recommend me a short(ish) decent route around Keswick

I'm off there for the weekend with the beloved. Bless her little cotton socks, she's kindly agreed to me let me go out playing on my bike on Sunday. I'm not doing the usual Skiddaw route as its a bit long and I may die on the climb up whitewater dash.
Anyone know any good routes around Keswick? A quick couple of hours blast. I want to be out and back in between my long lie in with the papers, and my appointment with a pub lunch. Its going to be an awful day 🙂
