My friend has just passed his gsce Japanese and I would like to buy him a sake to celebrate.
Trouble is I know nothing about sake-anyone able to recommend one that's easy enough to find in the uk?

Carbonate it in a soda-stream. Makes it awesome, works with cheap wine too.

As above, my preferred sake is "for f*cks". I can highly recommend it
My suggestion to carbonate sake was serious, it really does make it taste awesome.
Japanese malt whiskeys are often really nice, nikka etc.
