I'm after a light duty pop rivet gun. I'd prefer something with a carry case and an assortment of rivets/heads.

Something like a Draper 13963 any use?

I've got one of these.

Only used it once but it did the job easily.

I've had that Draper one for about ten years, used now and then and it's been fine ...
always I've always fancied one of those scissor action ones ...I love buying tools, goes off to Google them

Ive got one much like the one grum has linked too.

Been using it A LOT on the landrover (Landrover is 43% rivets and 57% rust you know).

I still have a lot more to do so was toying with getting a scissor one because the big (4.8mm) rivets are tough on the hands with the two handled riveter. The smaller rivets are fine though and it's a quick and easy job with any cheap riveter.

I've got the draper one as well, it's fine but you don't want to do a huge number with it- after about 20 or 30 decent sized rivets my hands are fit to burst. Doing stainless ones with it was a fight.

With 385 rivets I may be forced to buy a landrover to use them up 🙂

scissor type for the win - much much easier to use unless you have confined spaces

this might also sound mad - but at work i have a bahco rivet gun - it looks identical to my cheapy as linked to on ebay above....probably cost 10 times as much knowing bahco.

it works 10 times better easily and didnt break like my cheapy. dont have to bust your hands to bits to do a 4.8mm rivet - but the scissors is much better
