Can anyone recommend a personal injury lawyer?

I have a friend who has been injured by constructin workers and had some of his personal possessions damaged. I wondered if it was best for him just to ring a generic "no win no fee" or are there good and bad solicitors as with every trade?

West Mids based if that matters.

Thanks

Speak to Karen

She was with a solicitors firm when I spoke to her but they closed and she set up on her own.

Slater Gordon have bought various PI firms, but they’re in financial trouble and are closing UK offices. I’d steer clear.

I used to be a lawyer - actually I still hold a practising certificate - but have no experience in PI.

Two individuals I would recommend speaking to (who may not be the best people because they are specialists in clinical negligence but will be able to point your friend in the right direction):

Gary Walker at Enable Law.
Richard Starkie at Pryers.

Surely someone from a no claim no blame must have called him by now....

An Indian geezer keeps calling me and asks if I was involved in an accident

Wait till he calls you then tell him no, but you know a man who can
