Anyone recommend a holiday lodge park / caravan park (or similar reasonably priced holiday accommodation for a weekend near the sea with young kids. Thinking either Devon / Cornwall, S Wales, or maybe Dorset. Something near or preferably on a good beach.
St Ives Bay Holiday park in Hayle, Cornwall.
Hayle towans is an awesome beach.
Blackrock Sands in Porthmadog, beach is massive and you can even drive on it and have a sunset picnic etc.
Plus there is some riding and forests and mountains nearby for exploration.
Snowdonia railway leaves from just up the road for a fun day out as well.

Parkdean have a fair few site in Devon/Cornwall and I know that at least one other has direct access to the beach
