Ours is a salter one with a dial, it is scruffy and my wife wants to spruce up the bathroom.
I am also on a bit of fitness buzz and want to track things, on the current scale when I stand anywhere other than the dead centre it varies by half a stone. Has me concerned about accuracy.
So are there any decently priced ones that seem to give consistent results?

12 inches to the foot has always worked for me. Boom! Boom!
(Tanita body fat ones seem ok - ours has lasted 10 years)
Sorry, can't recommend a scale but beware of testing consistency by stepping on and off of the scale. I've noticed that the software in the one I have 'cheats' if it thinks you have done that and just repeats the previous reading if it is close enough. So, if I step off, grab a 250g bottle of water and then step on again it just shows me the previous weight :).So are there any decently priced ones that seem to give consistent results?
...checks to see if it is manufactured by VW
I tried one at the docs the other day, was amazing. Looked it up. £750.
are you going to be weighing your bike on it? If so, no need for scales, just say it is 29.8 pounds
I use a Withings. Tracks loads of stuff and the app is great.
With all such things, take the actual measurements with a pinch of salt and look at the upwards/downwards trends instead...
F sharp.
Really resonates on the tiles.
