I need some recommendations for a nice pub for lunch on Sunday within easy reach of south west Sheffield (in the car). Somewhere pretty with good food, good beer and a nice atmosphere. Know a few of them but want to try somewhere new.
(preferably somewhere that would do nice lunch "on a Sunday" rather than "Sunday Roast").

Yeah, shoulda mentioned that....
Turned up at 1.30 and left at 16.00 one Sunday.
Did get a completely free meal (for 3) though for being messed about - service has been excellent every other time though.
Never been a big fan if the fox house really. A few others to try though so thanks.
Any other ideas?
The Cheshire Cheese on Edale Road in Hope is good too
