We had a stand in Vicar who could have double as Ray Winstone at the service for the Chsritening of our daughter today. Over the course of the service he regularly stated:
[Ray Winstone voice]
"Oi, calm it, your in a church - have some respect"
then
"I'll say it again, so you you call all respond in the manner I expect"
and
"Its [i]Amen[/i] not [i]Ah-men[/i] son, get it right."
[/Ray Winstone voice]
It was odd, and slightly amusing.
Can anyone guarantee Ray wasn't in Church someone in North London this morning? 😯
