Just thought I'd be cheeky and ask if anyone has a code to hand as I want to order a pair of bib shorts.

Thanks

We were given a dodgy code on here, they took the cash but didn't honour the deal
Just got a wee snippy email from a Shona
I used to go out with a Shona years ago

I haven't seen a rapha discount code for ages now, is there anything in the archive sale. Seems rapha are going full prices and limited sale post takeover, they used to do flash sales and discounts.

Last week I got a good deal honoured by a retailer, I think it was a pricing mistake, by messaging the manager with a screenshot. He intervened and got me the purchase.

Yeah, the regular 20% off seems to have vanished. Their stuff does appear on Sport pursuit now however.

Those 20% discount codes have definitely dried up. Even Black Friday was **** they instead wanted people to instead go out and clock up miles.

I've always found the Chamois in the pro team to be very good for long days in the saddle. Finding a viable alternative is always risky as you don't know if they are good until you've used them.

The Sport Pursuit stuff is almost always for microbes or megaXL, there’s very little in between. Anything mid size, seems to be kept for their online archive sales.

I’ve resorted to eBay for the pricier bits.  Stuff is holding its prices well on there too and you need to be careful but I’ve had some joy on nearly new clothing with a bit of patience.

Rapha don't appear to need to do sales or offer discounts. eBay is worth keeping an eye out but that can still be silly money

Not been able to find anything and the 20% sales seem to have dried up.

I really like the Classic II bib shorts (asked for a new pair for Xmas) however I’m recently bought some DHB Aeron 3/4s and so far they seem as comfortable and are £120 less!

I’m going to see if this carries on and if so I’ll move to DHB.

I've got three tops in Large turning up today....

Yep, I recently bought their Pro Team Training Bib Shorts (full price from Rapha) and they are the most comfortable shorts I've found so far, will probably get some more...

What did you get?  The only large stuff I've seen in a while on there is women's (which of course you may be) or bad casualwear.

No idea if I'll keep any of it, but will take a look.

I'll continue to keep my eye on things there then, though nothing I really 'need' now.

Some good prices up there, well spotted.

I use my rapha ls tops for walking and beach workouts, so been drenched in sea water, sweat, sand and sun, and no damage yet. I suppose compared to sliding on tarmac which they were designed for, their life is easy.

I d wait for their Jan sale now, although their latest sale offering was just mainly rehashed achive stuff.

They've cut right back on promo codes. Some of their kit is quite difficult to get hold of anyway - I'm not sure if they've just cut back on what they order in to maintain better stock control and less likelihood of ending up with a whole raft of last season's designs to sell.

It was mentioned a while ago that they were moving away from the regular process of sales planned well in advance because it was just resulting in everyone sitting there waiting for a sale and then it all going manic.

They didn't do Black Friday this year (or at least, not as a sale, they actually closed all shops and gave the staff a free day off to go and ride). Coupled it with a Strava challenge to ride that day and the accumulated km dictated how many bikes they would give to the World Bicycle Relief charity.

Been a few weeks ago noe but I picked up Pro Team bib shorts from SP (in small) for nearly half the price.

Thinking about one of those insualted gilets next...

While i miss it, i don't know why brands endlessly discount their stuff. Jut devalues the product. There are many brands that i would never ever buy unless heavily on offer... just because of the frequency that the offers come up. I also fancy a pair of Rapha bibs and *shock horror* am actually considering buying them at full whack!

I bought one a few weeks ago. It's become one of my most used items, absolutely amazing bit of kit. High vis /reflective too.

Yes, I get lots of Ads on FB for stuff you can't actually buy as it's not in stock on their website!

Worth noting that if you put stuffusell listings into your watch list you may get a discount offer at some point.  I was watching a couple of windproofs and got one of 10% and one of 20%.  Only didn't press buy as I decided I didn't need a lightweight one.
