My dear wife (after both agreeing we would not buy each other gifts) has given me a Rally Experience this Christmas! Fantastic! 8)

Any advice on making the most of what looks like fairly limited time?

It'll be a very structured event, you won't be able to think outside the guidelines they lay down. Listen carefully to all their advice and try and follow it for the best experience.

It's rare these experiences become particularly on the edge because they have safety at the forefront of their minds. The best I've had was a palmer sport day where the instructors were always trying to get us to go faster. It really is amazing how much faster you can make a car go than you realised it would.

Chasing another guy in an M3 round a tight circuit with my bonnet about three inches from his boot while doing over a ton is an experience I'll never forget.

Thanks, does anyone know if it's worthwhile/VFM stumping up to extend the day?

I did one at silverstone a while back. It was fun but not long enough. I am looking at doing a longer one at some point.
They are great just make sure you get someone else to drive you home or have a really strong control of yourself, the choppers trend to not appreciate you drifting your car round roundabouts. I got someone else to drive.

Enjoy it and listen to what's being told, it's not a race.

Moe, where is it, I think they vary greatly in what you will get out of the time
Loved my Phil price rally day, found Silverstone one very pale in comparison
