I've never really done podcasts but I've got a bit addicted to this and 99% Invisible as I've spent a lot more time traveling with work lately,

Anything else I should go for, i quite like the easy explanations of varied subjects I now absolutely nothing about, like CRISPR and such things!

I could listen to Roman Mars all day long. “... and produced in beautiful, downtown, Oakland, California.”

I like the Allusionist.

You might also like Freakonomics radio. They’re similar to 99pi but a bit longer so I tend to lose concentration.

Radiolab and 99PI are the best things my ears have ever heard. Roman Mars' voice and style could make anything fascinating.

Once you've worked back through Radiolab and all the 99PIs, This American Life is worth a try, Radio Diaries and The Memory Palace are great as well, although more of a historical bent.
A few friends also love Benjamin Walker's Theory of Everything, but I just can't get into it, I think it's the opposite of the Mars Effect!
