That’s the problem these days. No Respect.

You're right Cougar but It doesn't have to be like that.

History will prove you wrong…….in fact I think it already has.

No history says different strokes for different folks.

No 'Shoot out the Lights"? How can U2 be better than Richard and Linda Thompson?

I think 75% of those albums are in a record box in my parents loft

I really couldn't choose, is it based on quality or sales?

Love lexicon of love, Rio & Dare and they contain the most songs I hum or sing along to in the car....oh & most of back in black!

Gotta be Raintown for me. Absolutely of its time and not a bad track on the entire album.

I have a feeling I might be in a minority 🙂

I'd struggle to pick my fav from that list, so many great ones. Anyway, I listened to Diamond Life earlier so I voted for that.

Surprised that I own(ed) 19 of the shortlist, and would certainly have rated at least one track on all the others.

A lot of your choice of favourite is based around the memories though. The Joshua Tree for the wonderful young lady who bought me it. Appetite for Destruction for the couple of years after we broke up. 🙄

Deep heat... lol, I have loads of them.

Another interesting fact might be how many of the albums do you own - digitally or otherwise.
Many good albums and artists missing of course but that is the list were dealing with 😉

I have 33, was 34 but I draw the line at Simply Dreadful and have long since ejected the red haired one.

I would have expected Echo & the Bunnymen Porcupine.

I think lots of you are mistaking your favourite album from the decade from the Ultimate Album from the decade. Whilst I agree with many suggestions for amazing albums, not many of them really deserve to be Ultimate Album.

Out of that list, and in this possible order, Hounds Of Love, So, Joshua Tree.

No ‘Shoot out the Lights”? How can U2 be better than Richard and Linda Thompson?

Well, they sold more albums, and I doubt very many R2 listeners will really know who Richard and Linda Thompson are!

Brothers In arms

Love Over Gold is, quite frankly, far superior to Brothers In Arms, but has always been somewhat overshadowed by the fact that BiA was the first album released on CD, and sold in huge quantities.
