Yes indeed. Co-writer of 'Here I go again'... He seemed a nice guy and a proper guitarist's guitarist. (That's an awful video, by the way... :-))

There's a load of his old (and many affordable) guitars going up for auction next month in Wiltshire. Perhaps he saw it coming...

Echo the nice guy comment.

Met him when we were doing an event at the opening of the MK Rose, I think that's what it was called.

Loved Whitesnake back in the day.

RIP

Not my favourite Whitesnake track, but quite a legacy. Admittedly a lot of the songs are a teenage giggle fest, but I was a giggling teenager at the time!

Really sad news.

Met him when he published his authority a couple of years ago and was doing a book tour.

He brought his acoustic along and played a few numbers, including 'Here I go...'. Was spine tingling.

He had some really great anecdotes too.

A lovely guy on all fronts.

A bit of talking at the beginning but it shows the master craftsmen doing his thing.

RIP Bernie.

That's a shame, I saw him a few times in Whitesnake's pre-hair metal incarnation, and also with his own outfit. Great guitarist, great team with Micky Moody.

Sad News

He was planning on selling The Beast a little while ago but his fans persuaded him not to as he would regret it.
