Anyone doing deals at the mo?
Manfrotto or similar quality for a Canon eos550d.
Need to buy the swivelly spinny heady bit too.

Dunno, but top tip for monopods is to learn the correct technique - they are next to useless if you just plonk the camera on top of it vertically.
I have a £15 ball head from Jessops which is rubbish for tripod work because it moves when you tighten it up, but that doesn't matter much for monopod use I find because you can just tweak the position anyway. And the lever is easily accessible with my left hand.
