Hello.

I've just got a new radiator. I bought it on the understanding it was 600mm (length) x 400mm (height) but the brackets on the back would indicate it fits the other way, ie, 400mm length x 600mm height. BUT it has a fitting (for the rad' valves) in each corner does this mean it's universal and I can fit it either way round?

Cheers
Stuart

I'd imagine the most important thing would to make sure the bleed valve was at the top, as the pump will force the water through whichever way up it is but you will need to bleed the air out from the top.

It comes with a bleed valve that screws into one of the fittings (same size thread as a rad' valve). What bothered me was how the internal routing might be.

Hi Stu,

It can be done, but looks rubbish[did one in a garage]
My advice is just swap it for the correct size.
