Recently moved into a new house and the bathroom is meant to have underfloor heating as well as a steam function in the shower and jacuzzi in the bath- sounds posh doesnt it!

Basically non of the above work. thermostat for the underfloor heating is blank. There are two fused switches on the outside of the bathroom wall which im pretty sure link to the underfloor heating and the bath and shower (one has B + S written on). These dont have any power in them at all- checked with a voltpen thing and also with a multimeter.

The circuit breaker however seems to be working fine, all of the breakers have been tested with the multimeter and all are functioning.

So my question is, how can the power be disappearing between the circuit breaker and these switches in the wall. Im baffled!

Are the wires connected in the fuse box?

check under blank thermostat as it may be anti tamper or a fixed thermocouple, and it is very warm today

You can't test a circuit properly with a multimeter. Get a spark in, there might be good reason why it's disconnected and a multi meter will not sort it.
