I've got one of those concrete fence post bags that you put water in then mix up and pour into your hole. The bag has a 1cm hole in it, and it's been in my damp shed for a few years and then left out in the rain overnight. It had compacted fairly hard, but I was able to squash the bag and free it up again. So is it likely to be any good still? My feeling is that it will have set *slightly* over the years and will not now set again if I pour water in it.

No. Almost certainly not.

Bin it and buy a new one.

Don't do this. You could get nasty chemical burns.

Dig a bigger hole and add the bag as infill. Then poor new post mix around it and place frozen sausages in it to make toad in the hole 😁

If you know anyone, whom you don't like much, who is about to put a fence up, it would make an ideal gift.
