The first album in ages I have really felt the need to listen to it all, not just a few key tracks. It's got drama, a storyline and some great music.

The journey from Peterhead to home was great with this on...

They're a (slightly unexpectedly) great live show too. Well worth checking out if they're nearby

Yes, it's excellent. Saw them live in Brizzle earlier this year. Tbh, I probably wouldn't have gone but it was Stoner's first gig since he was a kid and he was afraid to go on his own. I was glad I went though. Excellent concert and I've listened to the album lots. One of the band did a show on 6Music recently which might be still available on iplayer - worth a listen.

I am a fan too - great music.

They're on tour very soon, I've got tickets for Cardiff - still some available!

Good album for a few listens. Can't see me going back to it too often though.

First album is better. war room EP is spot on too, and lovely and heavy live. Great experience, although the Sputnik in the show is a bit Spinal Tap / Stonehenge. * oh how they danced *

It's brilliant! Been to see them a few times live. They put as much effort into the visuals as they do the music, and tie it in perfectly. And they don't take themselves remotely seriously either. Quite happy to take the piss out of themselves, which is quite a contrast to how moving their music can be

I love 'em!

Great album. Especially enjoyed after a good ride. It's actually the only album I've heard from them, so maybe I need to check out their earlier stuff?

Deadlydarcy. The only man who can actually raise the average age of attendees at a PSB gig.

It is a great concept album. And The Other Side always brings a tear to my eye.

Valentina was awesome live with the Smoke Fairies on stage. In fact I think I need to go and buy tickets for their November tour right now 🙂

Yep, great album. Heard about it on Kermit O'Dreary show on a drive back from the PD. Hoped to book tickets in Brum - All sold out by the time I got back / showered etc. Gutted.

Sputnik - Love it 'til the 'off chords' at the end.
Gagarin - Funky.
EVA - Ace
The Other Side - Pure Brilliance
Valentina - Eeerily beautiful.
Fire in the Cockpit - Sad.
Go! - The standout track on the album - So positive...

Agree - War Room is cracking stuff too.

Thanks - just reminded me to download it before a long drive!

That said, I thought they were pretty dull live (in Bristol too, natch). Stayed until the end but only just...

I got this album early in the year and played and played it. Really liked it.

I then saw war room and inform, educate in HMV so picked them up.

It kinda sounded all the same to me and has put me off.

I'll give 6 months and I'll be back listening to RFS though.
