Hi, can anyone recommend a decent pub with rooms / good food where you can do some nice riding from the door. Somewhere within an hour from south Manchester. Peeks would do but I'm looking for some non hardcore riding and a really nice place to stay.
Any ideas?

Monsal Head hotel/ monsal trail would fit the bill

Yorkshire Bridge or Rising Sun in Bamford are very nice.
I'd avoid the weekend though, it's brutal.
How about the Pen Y Gwryd in Snowdonia for a real treat?
