This place is bloody great!!

Lovely and cosy for this time of year, big roaring open fires when you get back from riding/walking. And the food is absolutely top notch!!

Really enjoyed our stay at Howe Keld in keswick

Great breakfasts and really nice rooms. Happy to store bikes in their garage as well.

Depends on how much you wanna spend really...
Kings Arms - right in the middle of Keswick.
1 night Dinner/Bed/Brekky, 2nd night BB free = from £68 pp.
www.lakedistricthotels.net

Excellent for the £££, been there a few times.

Choose Booster break, BUT you cant include a Saturday night in the deal.

For the Dales try The New Inn in Appletreewick

Slap bang in the middle of great riding country and MTBers always made welcome. They had a rather excellent beer menu when I used to go - which is a while ago, but still highly recommended
