MegaSack DRAW - 6pm Christmas Eve - LIVE on our YouTube Channel
...So it is on offer for £22.70 a bottle. Just don't go into the Montrose store expecting any to be left.
£23.50 in Chichester. 2 bottles left 30 minutes ago.
£23.50 in my local Tesco's. None left now 🙂
Nice PSA ta. None left at Glossop now, sorry...
Excellent PSA, thanks OP
Stock update:
Hermiston Gait - None (sorry, I got the last bottle, hiding behind a Lagavulin).
South Queensferry - None.
Penicuik - None.
Peebles - None.
😆
Couple bottles left in Banchory (but bashed boxes, as if....) £23.50.
Thanks for the heads up 🙂
Oh bollards - if I'd read this earlier I would've been straight in - now I'm at home with the kids so hoping some left tomorrow!
None in the town centre one in Ciren, but they did have their Finest 12 year Speyside half price at £12.50. Very nice it is too 🙂
None in abbeydale road Sheffield. But no shelf labels either so guess it's either long gone it was never in stock.
Is this for Ardbeg 10yr old 70cl? My local store is still charging £47!

Did you take it up to a till? It might still be full price on the shelf, but could still scan through reduced. Especially when it seems like a nation wide deal.
Yes I sure did - cleaned them out of 3 bottles! 😀
Good drills, greedy guts 😆
I was tempted to get a bottle, never tried Ardbeg, but the tasting notes on the website make it sound rank! I'm not a fan of peated scotch so I think it's probably not one for me, but tallow soap? Charcoal? Gtfo.
Tesc top Valley in Nottingham All sold out yesterday 🙁 shame, Ardbeg I one of my favs
tried 2 different shops on my way to work today. Both sold out 🙁
Prawny > It's very peaty. Have you tried Laphroaig? That's broadly similar. I doubt it's your dram of tea.
Jesus, if it's like Laphroaig it's way over priced at £22, it undrinkable.
Last week Tesco had Talsker Storm at £30 which is closer to right level of smokeyness.

How very dare you, Laphroaig is my favourite whisky. One mans poison is anothers nectar.
"How very dare you, Laphroaig is my favourite whisky. One mans poison is anothers nectar."
Most people think that, but in fact, OOB's taste is objectively correct and people who differ are wrong. 🙂
To be fair Laphroaig is a bit marmite. I have a mate who can't understand how I can like Laphroaig and other whiskys that taste completely different 🙂
Colleague from work messaged me from Tesco Tuesday night with the message "Ardbeg 10yo 70cl £23.50?" and now there's a bottle sat under my desk. These are the sorts of people you want to work with.
storm is still widely available at £30.
I just ordered got 12 bottles of the ardbeg by ordering online
How did you manage that Charlie? Just looked online again an it's not listed

Funnily enough when I was giving the bottle of Laphroaig (I couldn't drink it) away I offered it to a mate with the words "I've got 3/4 of a bottle of Scotch if you want it, I find it undrinkable".
He replied "Undrinkable? Laphroaig is it?". (...and it turned out he liked it.)
I've spent a lifetime telling people I prefer peaty Whiskys, now I've started to drink the stuff it turns out I don't like peaty Whiskys at all.

by making it up
And last night it said 'discontinued' when I looked so I suspect Charlie's not telling the truth.
Edit: ah, yes, took a while to type the reply!
Ahh, never tried Laphroaig either, would be tempted to try a nip, but I'm not going to drop £20+ on a full bottle.
Tried Jura recently, would go for a bottle of that if anyones giving it away.
Will make do with Highland Earl for now 😆
@ charlie: git!
My local tesco had the Ardbeg but still at original price. gutted as need to replenish my supply after Christmas
^ take it to the till; just bought the last bottle in the local one - shelf edge was still £47 but rang through at £23.50.

Meanwhile, as I discussed hearing about the offer with my colleague - widely known that we both love ardbeg and laphroaig - the third member of our small team piped up "oh yeah, I saw that in Tesco so I grabbed a bottle." Great, we say, any left? "Yeah there were two".... didn't think to tell us? "Ah, sorry". So we jump in the car to check. All gone in the two branches near us. "Phil, hope you enjoy your ardbeg" we say. Phil says "nah, don't really like islay, too peaty". Turns out Phil's a ****
