I am totally shocked. Hora has posted something useful.

I should have seen this last night - Checked AAroadwatch in Edinburgh at about 4.30pm, all clear. By the time we got to Biggar we were snowed in! A702 basically impassable with snow and stalled lorries. Had to get a hotel room, had the wee man with us as well.

Driving down south today was fine, surprisingly. Was expecting a nightmare, but M74 and M6 southbound were good.

I use this:

Not that I go anywhere, but I like to know what's going on.

Garry_Lager I was laughed at almost 2yrs(?) ago when I bought a Subaru Forester with winter tyres... (campion!)

However it saved us last winter en route from Peebles to Moffat in a sudden snow storm that covered the road and soo far this snowy-snap its been a boon. 😀
