Great series, but ended up really disliking Jimmy Iovine's ability to commercialism the crap out of things. Marketing genius, no doubt, but err... No Doubt, The Black Eyed Peas, Beats shitphones - all make me die inside a little.
Yep, great documentary and a fascinating story - until the Black Eyed Peas turn up and it all goes bland and shit.
Ace. Recording. Bit miffed I missed episodes 1&2 as Ep1 disappears from iPlayer tonight.... Hopefully in true BBC4 fashion the series will be repeated before too long.
