As a slight aside, what’s your favourite No9?

I’m going for Riddle of the Sphinx. Love the way it was written

I watched 'once removed' the other day and thought it was one of the best, with a great twist.

Sort of like a less disturbing 'irreversible'

Tough one but I’ll go with 2.

12 Nights of Christine absolutely brilliant and such tiny amounts of detail hidden away in it. Listen to the background music for example.

Bernie Clifton’s dressing room again humour with a dark undertone just perfection.

so many.....
the 12 days of christine is really clever, the bill, the lost shoe episode, and also really enjoyed the darker 'to have and to hold', where do you stop? writing at its very best.

I was close but just thought city was one of the teams playing in the march he was referring so palmed the idea off.

Best one has to be the one off live one. Amazing stuff

No, I fell for that one, hook line and sinker… turned over after thinking it had genuinely all gone horribly wrong.

Yeah I did too but I suppose being a child of the 70s I’m use to live TV failing. The first time it went off I thought it was deliberate but the second time I thought it was real.

I'm an idiot as well, turned it over when the sound or picture went. Haven't watched it. Think my favourite is A Quite Night In, but they're all brilliant. Even the ones that weren't that memorable, were still very good and well written.

The ‘worst’ episodes are still some of the best TV you’ll see… it’s just that the gems are amazing.

Am I the only one who didn't particularly like it, then? Might've been the subject matter, I have zero interest in football so I found it rather difficult to bring myself to care.

I think I might go dig out some earlier episodes, I think I've seen like two others ever. (Though one was the Cheese & Crackers one and I thought that was bloody brilliant.)

No interest in football here so thought I’d be out off but I wasn’t.

Netflix has them all Cougar.

I binge watched all the back episodes last year on iplayer, not sure how I ever missed it.

The Trial of Elizabeth Gadge was my favourite episode.

No interest in football either but none of them are really about what they appear to be about at the start. Tight script, great performances and always a twist. I'm a fan.

A Quiet Night In and The Bill for me, and Zanzibar.

The referee one was one of my least favourites.

not seen last nights yet...

Last nights episode was cringingly brilliant. Mother lending a helping hand in the bathroom was toe curling.
