just seen by chance the new series starts on BBC2 tonight at 10pm.
that'll do for me.
Oh yes!
My nephew is in one of the episodes.
Cool.
Looking forward to it 👍🏻
Tellybox set to series record.
Cheers for the heads up, fella
As a slight aside, what’s your favourite No9?
I’m going for Riddle of the Sphinx. Love the way it was written
I watched 'once removed' the other day and thought it was one of the best, with a great twist.
Sort of like a less disturbing 'irreversible'
As a slight aside, what’s your favourite No9?
Tough one but I’ll go with 2.
12 Nights of Christine absolutely brilliant and such tiny amounts of detail hidden away in it. Listen to the background music for example.
Bernie Clifton’s dressing room again humour with a dark undertone just perfection.
Once again, never saw where that was going!
As a slight aside, what’s your favourite No9?
so many.....
the 12 days of christine is really clever, the bill, the lost shoe episode, and also really enjoyed the darker 'to have and to hold', where do you stop? writing at its very best.
Once again, never saw where that was going!
I was close but just thought city was one of the teams playing in the march he was referring so palmed the idea off.
Absolutely bloody brilliant! 😃
Made me laugh.
Best one has to be the one off live one. Amazing stuff
No, I fell for that one, hook line and sinker… turned over after thinking it had genuinely all gone horribly wrong.
What an idiot.
Yeah I did too but I suppose being a child of the 70s I’m use to live TV failing. The first time it went off I thought it was deliberate but the second time I thought it was real.
I'm an idiot as well, turned it over when the sound or picture went. Haven't watched it. Think my favourite is A Quite Night In, but they're all brilliant. Even the ones that weren't that memorable, were still very good and well written.

haha same......
The ‘worst’ episodes are still some of the best TV you’ll see… it’s just that the gems are amazing.
That was brilliant.
Am I the only one who didn't particularly like it, then? Might've been the subject matter, I have zero interest in football so I found it rather difficult to bring myself to care.
I think I might go dig out some earlier episodes, I think I've seen like two others ever. (Though one was the Cheese & Crackers one and I thought that was bloody brilliant.)
No interest in football here so thought I’d be out off but I wasn’t.
Netflix has them all Cougar.
Handy to know, thank you.
I binge watched all the back episodes last year on iplayer, not sure how I ever missed it.
The Trial of Elizabeth Gadge was my favourite episode.
No interest in football either but none of them are really about what they appear to be about at the start. Tight script, great performances and always a twist. I'm a fan.
All the series are currently on iPlayer
I think I might go dig out some earlier episodes
Well, I binged S1 last night. S2 starting imminently. Very good so far.
Yes, just yes.
It just never fails absolutely brilliant. Even to the closing credits scene.
Love it.
just watched it on catch-up, brilliant!
i also twigged another subtle move from last week, you lot probably got it already, i was a bit slow there.....
was just watching the 'no9' going up on the door of this weeks and remembered, ah yep, of course, theyre all actually 'inside no9' in some way arent they, hmmmm, so what was last weeks then?
dohhh of course!!! ..... simply brilliant.
A Quiet Night In and The Bill for me, and Zanzibar.
The referee one was one of my least favourites.
not seen last nights yet...
Referee one was OK for me, loved last nights though.
Last nights episode was cringingly brilliant. Mother lending a helping hand in the bathroom was toe curling.
Not sure last nights was one to recommend to anyone who has never seen it before. Brilliant though
“I soon realised I was filling a hole where mother had been” 😂🤮
Superb.
Was Riddle of the Sphinx the crossword one?
PS loved Jelly's cameo.
Cougar, do yourself a favour and catch up on Pyschoville as well (if you haven't already)
Was Riddle of the Sphinx the crossword one?
Yes
Ah. That one was brilliant.
Is anyone else looking out for the silver hare in each episode?
Loved last nights nod to Pyschoville.
