no, because then our stale food eating, recycled water drinking, not knowing what a mountain is "mountain biking" (pmsl) southern neighbours wouldn't know how to get elctrickery

But in Scotland the sun is only strong enough to provide vitamin D between April and September.

I remember being told this is an issue in Norway too, but something to do with their diet there negates the risk. Can't remember what it was though.

I think that it was meant to be a bit tongue in cheek!

As someone who has lived up here for a while now I did not take offence.

I would agree that sunlight levels are pretty low up here from October to March, but I can't see them being much lower than the north of England in all truth.

Okay, I didn't realise some of you guys were so sensitive, us namby-pamby shandy drinking southerners seem to be able to take the abuse and get on with it..... suppose we do have frappacinos to console ourselves with though!
