Good PSA. If I didn't already have three of them I would be in!

Great deal, I have two but perhaps "need" another three...

if you are thinking about picking them up they are pretty heavy and you will need decent space in your car.

I picked mine up with my alfa gt, but in reality it wasn't worth my BC discount and I should have had them delivered.

The guy helping me into the car with them was telling me about his shoulder problems and how easily it dislocated - made me feel a bit guilty...

How were you aware of that offer wysiwyg? I've signed up for halfords newsletters and never get any, checked junk email and nothing there.

Ahhhh..... I'd only put the big chest into my basket and added the discount which only bought it down to £225.... you need to add all three chests separatley and then add the code to get £199.

.... reserved 🙂
May have to take the trailer!

The trade card gives fixed percentages off items now, tools is 20%. Though only works if paying in-store

Got a similar deal for £180 with the midday deal a couple of months ago.

Be prepared to enter the 7th circle of hell trying to remove the halfords stickers. Oh and magnetic inkjet paper is useful for printing draw labels.

All 3 boxes ordered, ta!
Will go nicely in my new garage.
I know for a fact, having picked up the 7 drawer 'middle on' one a few years ago, that there's no way these would all fit in my car!!

what he said!

I'm guessing these three will go in a Mondeo estate with the seats down?

If they don't, I think they might be a bit big for the space I've got for them in the garage!

It may no Ed, it may not...
I seem to recall seriously underestimating the size of the box the 7 drawer came in. I think that wouldn't fit in an octavia boot, so getting all 3 in may be a push!!!

I've going to try collecting this afternoon..will have to take out al the kids seats though!

If there's an issue fitting them in the car hopefully they'll hold onto a cabinet for a second trip...

I'd put the roof bars on if they weren't already attached to the roofbox. Think a second trip will be easier to achieve...

Be prepared to enter the 7th circle of hell trying to remove the halfords stickers.

WD40 works nicely on them. Fingernails or a scraper to get started and remove the top plasticy layer leaving the white papery stuff. WD40, soak for a minute and it comes right off.

There's packed product dimensions for each one on the site:

wheeled cabinet: 76x54x72 cm
mid size: 72x37x57
small: 73x37x37

Reckon I'll get away with one trip.

I'm probably going to order all three but don't actually need the 7-drawer as I already have one. Would be happy to pass on the discount if someone else wants it and I'll hang onto the other two.

They should all fit in one trip but it seems my store is having to order the top one in as the one they have is damaged - got to wait until Wednesday 🙁
It's going to be cool as I'm fed up of tools spread out all over the place and taking one spanner out of the tool box only to have another one fall out and disappear under the bench. 👿

Thanks for the PSA, I'll be picking mine up tonight. Glad to hear that they fit in a Mondeo estate, should be similar with my Passat.

Was planning on getting some as soon as I finished my shed...the missus will be delighted to have these sat in the house until the shed is finished 😀

Cheers, Rich

Well if you havent paid, wander along to select.halfordsbusinessservices.co.uk
Fill in details, use code MCOUNTHal09, buy £200 vouchers and only pay 192 inc pnp.. sherting. If you can be arsed over £8, saved me £40 though. If they take BC too, theyll cost £180 a set.

Collected the bottom bit on Tuesday and getting the other two tonight when I drops girls off for athletics. Not unpacking anything yet as the barn they're going into had a new roof yesterday and there's a false ceiling to come down which is going to cover everything in shlt.
Once that's all done though I shall have a very large, and hopefully tidy, play pen 🙂

Ha! Thank you! I was just on the phone to halfords and nice girl was telling me they had another in stock as I read yours!

Thanks for saving me wasting 40 mins in the car.

So many stickers, and none saying "NB - open the lid"

Or even "There is a lid."! At least the lack of rubber topping makes sense now. I'd put the smallest on on top.

Industrial boxes now on offer, but with a socket set. Any codes against this offer?
(I know there's 10% B.C. & quidco as well)
Or just wait until they're on offer again - sure it was last year that both were £299.

I got the latest bundle offer with 2 industrial boxes and socket set for £292 this morning. Offer was £400, but when I added them to my basket they added a 10% off everything bringing it down to £360, bc 10% off code got it down to £324, I get 10% off Halfords vouchers through my employee benefits bringing it down to £292. I'll be sticking the socket set on eBay for £100 plus postage.
