Bargain
Its an ok laptop but the new AMD Ryzen 5 / 7 CPUs are absolutely hammering Intel in terms price to performance ratio. Plus, it doesn't have a discrete GPU. At that price I'd be wanting at least a Nvidia MX250.
At what price, the original rrp or the £700ish price?
I am tempted by this for using Lightroom when travelling - but I know bog all about computers really.
512 SSD Hard drive would be fine, 16gb is ok I think, but 32 would be better. Screen res sounds good. Small and light is nice. Sounds like peripherals might be limited, but again, probably manageable just for travel.
Is there anything better for that kind of price? Especially given potential supply issues and price rises.
I used to have that one (i7, 16gb ram) for work. Was very quick and I really liked the portability - I did a lot of work on the train and had to walk round London with it in my bag a lot. I found the 4k screen unnecessary though, you had to zoom it to the point that it was pointless?
