Wow - that's cheap. I paid £38 as above but I guess the time spent going to Sainsbury's would 'cost' me more given I would have to go during work hours before it sells out.

So much for it selling for £55?

What's the odds it sells out within minuets at Sainsburys?

Pre-ordered on Amazon for £45.

With their pre-order price gaurantee I will be hassling them to reduce to the currently advertised price of £32

Well that's another one ordered, this time from Amazon - it's for my brother on behalf of my mum as a Christmas present. Now do I tell her it was £38 (which I paid last week) and keep the £32 for myself?

Hmmm....

I think you'll find its only £26 when you buy another top title.

Now that sucks.

You assume wrong.

I'm not a Makro member as it's not that cheap and is 50 miles away but yeah Lindt chocolate is nice.

Woot! Got mine they're selling out fast for a rural shop, there was loads in there buying it and they were very strict about the one per person rule.

Well time for brekkie and a try out.

Got mine on the way to work at 5 this morning from Asda. They had plenty left. Not sure how busy it was at midnight though. Now I only have to wait eleven hours to be back home and playing.

I'll be trying my luck at sainsburys this lunch time....apparently you can add it to steam just like the valve games so it'll stay updated (just like the valve games). I hope so...i hate having to pish about with DVDs.

Also I don't see what the fuss is all about with the airport scene. Play Grand Theft Auto and get to kill innocent civilians at every corner.

IT'S A GAME AND WE ARE ADULTS FFS!!! (It is an 18 rated game)

My local Sainsburys had sold out in 10 min. this morning apparently?

My copy came in the post today. I know this is going to be a stupid question:

Are the servers for online play all separate for xbox/ps3/pc?

26 quid from stirling sainsburys this morning. queued for 1/2 an hour as its was only available until 10am. the wife thinks i'm going to hand it over to be given it back on 25/12. in the world of scots where a double positive actually makes a negative... aye, right. 😈

The deal in Sainsburys was for PS3 and 360 but no worries as it's easily availble for PC around the same, that's the good thing about PCs.

Airport scene was odd but I never killed any civilians I did shoot a pixelated gun at some pixels crying out for help and dragging their bleeding bodies along the floor.

A few school kids were getting cash from their parents and going in as I was coming out, wonder what there chances of being server were.

Yeah I was at ours 15 mins after it opened queue was pretty big so went and got some other bits and pieces, went back to till and I got straight there they had to open another box for me though so were going through fast. Mate is just leaving work after finishing late hoping to catch a copy on his way home.

What? Jesus.

Not sure what the Special mode is need to complete singleplayer first but should be something out there about it. I wasn't going to get it so never looked into but for £26 well worth it.

Qued for 20 minutes at Sainsburys in Hazel Grove this morning to get my copy. Que was as big when I left as when I joined it at half 7.

Considering the big red 18 on the front and side of the box, I was amazed by the number of pre-pubescent local yoofs skipping away with 3 or 4 copies in their paws. (I'll ignore the one copy per customer rule for now)

£25.99 Morrisons!!! Seriously!? I'll have to pop over on Lunch break!

It would cost me £10 in petrol to get to Sainsbury's or Makro. 😥

Apparently so - all the reviews are very good. But it is just more of the same really, just a few different ways of killing people (snowcats, underwater etc).

And as I just finished WaW on Sunday I am looking forward to getting onto this 🙂

Well it's just another COD so more of the same however it's a good format that gets polished a little more each time. If you like COD serious then it will satisfy.

Popped into Sainsbury on the way to work this morning to buy it for my son, saw the queue of saddos and left without getting out of the car. Just nipped out to the local morrissons and bought two copies, one for my son and one for his pal, for £25.99 each. No queue, no spotty teenagers, no geeks in their 40's who still live with their parents but shouldn't - straight in/straight out no messing.

? If the Tactical Nuke is selected as one of your killstreaks, it can be used after getting 25 kills in a row without dying.
? By using it, the Tactical Nuke will detonate on the map after 10 seconds.
? The Tactical Nuke ends the round by killing everyone on the map, so you can't hide from it.
? It gives you and your team an instant win.

INSTANT WIN???

WTF??

Sniper lamers will pwn joo!!!!

FPS games should always be played on a PC. You simply cant beat keyboard and mouse for aiming.

I'm still waiting for a game where you get cross platform servers, ie where PC gamers can be unleashed against console players. I'd love a go at that!

Yeah PC is a damn site easier, was Halo 3 not cross platform I'm not sure as played it for 30 seconds found it was just as shite as the other Halos and never played it again.

I'm strictly PC myself 😉

25 killstreak is pretty achieveable IMO, the nuke option could become a real pain in the a$$.

Any vehicles in the MP maps?

TBH I've never played such games on a PC before but I have COD on the Wii and the use of the gun thingy is really effective.

...And yes, I know the Wii is for kids, the graphics are too cartoon, etc, etc...

You're certainly the only person on this thread (a thread aspecifically about a computer game) who couldn't give a fig. How's that working out for you?
