Really? I think excluding a huge portion of the social care workforce (who are agency or self-employed but still attending care homes / individual visits with almost no PPE etc etc) so a company can gain some virtue-seeking publicity is not in the spirit of things either.

They haven’t ruled out future virtue-seeking by doing this for other key workers. Meantime as a thank you to the NHS they are offering this for now. It’ll be handy for NHS staff to pay for their Caribbean holiday.

I know of someone who's already placed their order so I presume it went ok for them.

PS: - a further big up for Endura as they've gifted this offer for some charity stuff I've done in the past, a couple of times. They don't mind giving. 🤟

Got my code back same day, so did a work colleague.

Placed the order on Tuesday but nothing arrived yet, presume it’ll take a week or so

I have an honorary NHS contract, tho no proper ID badge as I never got it sorted (I collect tumour samples from surgeries research)
If feel to guilty doing this even if I did need something.

I do like endura stuff & they get brownie points from me for doing this!

Disappointing but predictable there would be sniping about a well-intentioned offer.

Is it sniping, or is it merely pointing out that there are all sorts of people working their backsides off to keep us going, like at the supermarkets, who get very little respect at the best of times, don't get any PPE, aren't really equiped to deal with the current situation and get paid crap. No pot banging for them though. No mention of how heroic they are, no special offers for people in Tesco uniforms.

Which is not to say the NHS staff aren't working their arses off in bad conditions but they aren't the only ones. Which seems to be a bit forgotten.

I desperately need Hunt to do 50% off. My wheel gave up whilst commuting back from work last week and now I’m on an old brick of a wheel !

soobalias - their communication has previously always been great for me, bear in mind that they may have many staff absent right now, hang tight & I'm sure they'll come good as soon as they're able 👍
