Affinity photo is a pretty good alternative to Photoshop in my experience, for those with less to spend on editing software.

Affinity are currently doing 50% off their apps.

If you want a decent bit of software for photo editing, it's good for £24

The iPad version is particularly good and yes, agree a very viable PS alternative. I like it a lot...
