Just got a PS5 digital. I'm mid 50's & not gamed since the 1980's. Going to challenge my psychomotor skills a bit. I've downloaded Gran Turismo and might give COD a go in due course.
Any fun game recomendations - particularly 2 player & fairly easy that I could share with my wife??
It Takes Two is the game that constantly gets mentioned as the best two-player game available for PS5. Never played it myself though.
It Takes Two was really fun with my 10 year old son. Really requires team work
I think you can couch co-op Escape Academy?
Bomberman world and Untitled Goose Game still get played here.
Echo the it takes two game, definitely takes team work but can highlight one persons lack of any basic communication skills! I think both people have to be into those sorts of games too, my husbands more into point and shoot games so the platforming aspects of it annoyed him when he couldn't do it first time.
Overcooked is good fun, plus any of the Worms games if your marriage is strong enough. Party Golf or Everybody's Golf. Dare I say Minecraft in split screen?
it takes two was good.
dirt5 has a good split screen racing function
Can you get the Portal games on PS5?
*edit* apparently not. Should probably have googled first, shouldn't I?
Lego games are great fun in two player mode.
Definition it Takes Two unless your wife has very poor gaming skills and the puzzle requires accuracy and team work from both players.
Little Big Planet games are good fun too.
Right, Atrobot isn't two player specifically...but it is awesome fun and really engaging. Been playing it with my 8 and 6 year olds and turn-taking works just fine. Fun to watch and play.
Atrobot
I assume you mean Astrobot? But yes - it is very good but it is even better on PSVR – if you move your head you can see around corners and stuff – all very clever.
PlateUp! Is really fun 1-4 player, it's like overcooked except you build the whole restaurant layout as you progress, much more creative.
+1 for Lego
Obvs all the sports games, if she’s into that, FIFA (or whatever it’s called these days) etc
Diablo IV!
Dungeon Defenders is fun.
Diablo IV!
Sharing one console?
Gang Beasts!
Unravel 2 makes my two warring kids calm down and work together. Lovely chilled teamwork game
goat simulator has a two player mode and seems to keep my son and his mates entertained. Appears to be Goat themed Grand Theft Auto.
Timely!
It Takes Two is currently one of the free games of the month in the PS Store!!
Going to give it a go along with one or two other suggestions Tx everyone
Not done any gaming in years, but when the wife and I first met, we used to play Worms. Don't know if that's still a thing, but it was good fun.
Now the Until Dawn games (original or remake) and The Quarry by Supermassive games are great co op experiences, they're more like interactive movies but properly tense and scary on times and they make for a great 'pass the pad' experience, highly recommended!
Super Monkey Ball.
But then again I have only just moved into 00's of gaming.
Or, forget PS5 and fire up a copy of Worms+ on DosBox.
The best and only version worth playing. Even better than Directors Cut on the Amiga IMO.
I wish you could play Worms+ online multiplayer... That would be amazing.
