I know it's probably a bit of a hobby for them but it did feel like it had gained a bit of a critical mass and could have gone somewhere, what with the multiple projects and fairly regular updates but it now just seems to have fizzled out. The 108 race car was great, especially as it happened relatively quickly and had a conclusion. The escargo and the MG though seem to have sunk without trace.

I know it's an interesting thing to have done but the whole dash rabbit hole has lost me. I just don't get how you could spend that much time doing something so relatively pointless.

My FB feed suggesting a new Binky Episode airing on YT at 19.00 on this very day (31/7/25). Allegedly the penultimate episode, which means either that they're giving up or.... nearly finished. Has hell frozen over?

It was the penultimate episode... But then Nic and Richard both died before they could complete the last episode, and so the incomplete project and notes were handed over to Brandon Sanderson, who decided that he could finish it but only with 3 super-long 4 hour episodes.

I think its a search for perfection and a rolling test rig for techniques they can use in paid work

They have the most incredible patience. They are correct and the result will be fantastic but it's just at another level in terms of investment which is a great thing

the dashboard and controls are very impressive and I bet that lots of customers are asking for bespoke stuff

To be honest, that episode left me cold. It didn't seem to have as much humour as past episodes and the engineering was just repeats of older episodes.

They're either going to go over the top with a solution.... or just scrap it.

Almost felt rushed, compared to their usual glacial speed!

Brilliant as ever, just needs more detail and less rushing. They're very hasty.

There's no way it's going to stay in one piece for very long.

I was watching him fit that interior and wondering how many times it's all going to be removed again.
