Hi all,

I have a contract with a well known mobile phone provider. I signed up for a 18 month contract at £10.99 a month contract giving me 100 minutes, 100 text, 500 meg data but now they've told me I have to stay in the contract for 24 months, that it's now £14.99 a month and I get less minutes etc.

Is this fair, should I accept it or should I fight it?

What does your contract say?

Obviously we are all used to price rises during our contracts and I suspect if we read the T&Cs it would be covered. Not sure about your actual contract duration being up for alteration though. I'd raise it with them and look for some proper advise. I assume there is some form of regulator you could look to for advise. This may well be a try on and if you challenge they will back down on the chage to duration at least. Think you would have to live with price rise though.
