[Closed] Problem with firefox on ubuntu - Help

Firefox has started opening links on the internet pages when I hover over them without me clicking on them. As I hover over the link the mouse cursor starts to go red and when it is completely red it takes me to the link. This is annoying as I did not want this to start happening. I don't know if I can change it in the settings or if I have a virus, which would be unusual for ubuntu.

Has anyone had this happen to them? If so how do I stop it?
Hopefully the wealth of knowledge on this forum can provide the answer...
