Oakley want £20 to change a £2 battery so I'm assuming £18 to pressure test. This right?

Battery
+ Labour cost of changing battery
+ Labour cost of performing pressure test
+ Cost of unpacking, repacking etc
+ Return postage
+ Packing materials
+ Other small but real overheads
+ Profit

= £20

I hire a 1200 Bar pressure vessel for $400/hour. £18 sounds pretty reasonable..

£20 isn't a lot if it is only every few years but you can always DIY it. Most watches only need standard tools or maplin sell some specialist ones cheaply. Put it back together properly and you won't need to pressure test it. I do it for my dive watch and that gets exposed to proper wet and pressure.

Battery (bought in bulk) = £1 having Oakley on the nameplate £19. 🙄

I've had the back off my Seiko 'Spork' diver's watch to regulate it using a Maplin tool. Just make sure any 'O'-rings are secure and tighten the back properly and you should be fine.

Sounds about right. I was charged, uh, about £18 IIRC from a local independent to do mine a while back. The watch wasn't a particularly prestige marque though.
