[Closed] Preacher TV Show on Amazon Prime

I seem to have decided to be a dick about it deviating from the original plot too much. Not sure why, I don't seem to have any choice in the matter though.

I am hoping it will be good as I really liked the graphic novel.

It's next on my watchlist, so no spoilers.

Liked it and have high hopes for the series. What is it with British leading actors though? Aren't there enough actors in America? The 3 leads are all played by people from this side of the pond. Dominic Cooper was very good but always imagined Jesse as a rangy 6 footer.

I thought it was good , looked great . Dragged in a few places but there was enough there to make me watch the next one

It has potential, a little less of the "pole up the backside" seriousness of Daredevil (although I loved that) but way more gory and violent than Agents of Shite and the like. I'll stick with it.

Loved the little smile in the bar (if you've not seen it, this is not a spoiler and you'll know what I mean when it happens)

I can't remember the comics. Well, I remember the gist but barely anything clearly. I've only watched the first 10mins and the show looks ok. Don't go too spoilery on me till tomorrow please folks.

Changing things from the comic doesn't bother me to much , some stuff works on paper but not on screen . End of watchmen for example was changed for the better I think

I went into it with mix of wanting it to be good and hoping they didn't eff up the comics. Did enough for me to want to continue. Will be interesting to see how they handle some of the 'more interesting' storylines of the comics (if at all). Some pretty grim stuff to potentially come

Wasn't sure about Cooper as Jesse until the bar and then he clicked for me, that smirk and one more thing were bang on. Thought Cassidy and Tulip were very good.
